BBC Design Trainee Scheme

Part funded by the Skillset TV Freelance Fund, the BBC Design Trainee Scheme helps talented designers at the start of their careers gain an introduction into the television, film and interactive design industry.

WHO CAN Apply
Applications are invited from anyone passionate about a design career in television and film or interactive design. There are no limitations regarding age or stage of career development.

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of attainment in art and design, usually at graduate level, or with equivalent relevant experience.
You can apply for 12 month contracts in set, costume, interactive or make up design. 
You must apply by submitting your portfolio with a paper CV attached, and filling in an online application form.

Applicants are invited for 12 month contracts in:
Production/set design 
Costume design 
Make-up 
Application Dates
We will be accepting applications for the design summer school and 1 year contracts in set, costume or make-up between 27 March and 9 April 2009 
HOW TO Apply
Applicants are invited to submit examples of their work within the application dates. A panel of leading designers for each design category will select and short list those considered to have outstanding talent and potential.
